Your data, plainly explained.
What we collect, why, and what we will never do with it. Effective 21 July 2026.
Who we are
Belle Vouz Ltd ("Belle Vouz", "we", "us") is a clothing manufacturer and buying house registered in Bangladesh, with a head office at Plot A-132, Road No. 02, BSCIC Industrial Area, Ponchabati, Narayanganj 1400, Narayanganj, Bangladesh, and a European office at Soetendaal 61, 1081 BN Amsterdam, Netherlands. For anything in this policy, we are the data controller and you can reach us at hello@bellevouz.com.
EU representative (GDPR Article 27): for visitors in the EU/EEA, our Amsterdam, Netherlands office acts as our EU representative for data protection matters — you can direct GDPR requests or complaints there, or to hello@bellevouz.com, and we will treat them the same way.
What we collect, and why
We collect only what you choose to give us, plus — if you accept our cookie banner — a small amount of anonymous usage data. Specifically:
- Enquiry (quote request) details — your name, company or brand, email address, country, product type, estimated quantity, target delivery date and your message. We use these solely to prepare and send you a quotation and to correspond with you about your enquiry.
- Newsletter email — if you subscribe to our sourcing notes, we store your email address to send you those occasional emails. Nothing else is attached to it.
- Analytics (only with your consent) — if you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics measures aggregate traffic and how visitors use the site, with IP addresses anonymised. If you decline or ignore the banner, Analytics never loads and no analytics cookie is set.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies until you make a choice in the cookie banner shown on first visit. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions; if you reject, none are set and browsing is unaffected. You can change your mind at any time using "Cookie Preferences" in the footer, which reopens the banner and lets you switch your choice — this also clears the previous choice from your browser's local storage.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
- We do not run advertising trackers, remarketing pixels or third-party ad cookies on this site.
- We do not load Google Analytics, or set any non-essential cookie, before you've actively accepted the cookie banner.
- We do not send marketing email to enquiry contacts who have not asked for it — a quote request is not a newsletter subscription.
- We do not collect payment details through this website.
Legal bases
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on: (a) steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract — for responding to your quote enquiry; (b) your consent — for the newsletter, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us, and for Google Analytics, which you can withdraw at any time via "Cookie Preferences" in the footer.
Where your data is stored and who it's shared with
Your enquiry is seen by the Belle Vouz merchandising team, based in Bangladesh, who prepare your quotation. The website itself is hosted on Infomaniak's Swiss data centre infrastructure — Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection, so hosting there does not require additional transfer safeguards. Enquiry emails are sent through our email provider, Resend, and — only if you consent — aggregate traffic data is processed by Google Analytics; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission also recognises as providing adequate protection for that transfer. These providers process data on our behalf under their own data-processing terms and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Because our merchandising team works from Bangladesh, responding to your enquiry does involve our staff there accessing your enquiry details — a transfer of data outside the EU/EEA that is not currently covered by an EU adequacy decision. We limit what we collect for exactly this reason, and we take appropriate contractual and organisational steps to protect it in transit and at rest. If you'd like more detail on these safeguards for your own records, write to us.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as we are actively discussing or fulfilling your requirement, and then for up to 3 years afterwards as part of ordinary commercial records, in line with standard limitation periods — after which it is deleted. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data, when you've consented to it, is retained for up to 14 months, Google Analytics' recommended EU-facing retention window, before being automatically deleted.
Your rights
Wherever you're based — the EU, UK, elsewhere in Europe, or anywhere else — you can ask us at any time to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, export it, or stop using it. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (or to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, via our EU representative above). To exercise any of these rights, email us — we reply to privacy requests the same way we reply to enquiries: quickly.
External links
The site links out to third parties — for example WhatsApp for chat, Google Maps for directions, and collectivestudioltd.com, our sister company. Once you leave this site, those services' own privacy policies apply.
Changes to this policy
This policy is effective as of 21 July 2026. If we add new ways of collecting data — for example live chat or customer accounts — we will update this page before doing so, and change the effective date above.
